This section outlines the general terms and conditions governing the use of the English Pioneer platform and defines the rights and obligations of the parties in relation to the services provided.
These Terms & Conditions must be read and accepted before registering on the platform and benefiting from its services.
By registering, the student agrees and declares that they will comply with these Terms & Conditions.
When completing the registration form, the student must confirm acceptance of these Terms & Conditions by ticking the designated box. Any electronic consent, tick-box confirmation, or digital approval shall constitute a legally binding agreement.
2. Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms & Conditions, the following definitions apply:
English Pioneer Platform:
A service provider delivering online English lessons to students seeking General English, Business English, IELTS preparation, or university preparation.
Website:
English Pioneer’s official website: www.englishpioneer.com.
Service:
Educational sessions that allow direct communication between the teacher and the student through a video call over the Internet.
Student:
The person who benefits from the services provided by the English Pioneer platform.
Teacher:
The person who provides educational sessions to the student through the English Pioneer platform.
Registration:
The process of joining the platform, including completing the registration form, attending the introductory session, and paying the subscription fee for the selected course or number of hours.
Content:
All data and information available on the Website, including text, images, and videos.
3. Registration and Admission
The student must provide accurate and up-to-date contact details and must regularly check their email and other communication channels used for correspondence.
If the student’s email address or phone number changes, the student must notify English Pioneer immediately via the official communication channels.
The contact details provided by the student are linked to the student’s account and will be used in all correspondence relating to the provision of services.
The registration process consists of the following steps:
- Completing the registration form on the Website and accepting the Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Refund Policy
- Booking the introductory session for assessment and learning plan orientation
- Paying the subscription fee for the selected course or number of hours
4. Commencement of the Agreement
The agreement becomes effective, and the student may begin benefiting from English Pioneer’s services, only after all registration steps and payment have been completed.
5. The Student
English Pioneer welcomes students who wish to improve their English (General English, Business English, IELTS preparation, or university preparation), subject to these Terms & Conditions.
6. Learning Stages
English Pioneer’s General English program is divided into six levels:
- Beginner
- Elementary
- Pre-Intermediate
- Intermediate
- Upper-Intermediate
- Advanced
Each level takes approximately 60 hours to complete. The student may purchase a designated number of hours according to available plans.
No Guarantee of Results:
English Pioneer does not guarantee any specific results, scores, or outcomes. Progress depends on the student’s commitment, attendance, effort, and individual abilities.
7. Educational Sessions
Educational sessions are provided throughout the week, including Saturdays and Sundays. Each session lasts approximately 55 minutes.
The student is responsible for ensuring a suitable learning environment and meeting all technical requirements.
English Pioneer reserves the right to record educational sessions for operational purposes, including quality assurance, teacher evaluation, training, and publishing selected recordings on the Website or official social media platforms.
The student must be ready at the scheduled session time. Any lateness will be deducted from the session duration, and no make-up time will be provided.
If the teacher is unable to deliver a session, English Pioneer may provide a substitute teacher or arrange a make-up session.
No make-up sessions will be provided for unjustified student absences or failure to notify the platform in advance.
8. Follow-up and Evaluation
English Pioneer monitors student progress and may conduct ongoing assessments based on internal evaluation criteria.
The learning process is cumulative, and progression may depend on performance and task completion.
Students may track achievements through their student account or approved applications.
Periodic assessments may include monthly and/or end-of-level evaluations.
9. Communication
All communication between the student and teacher must occur through official channels approved by English Pioneer.
Neither party may request or share personal contact details without platform authorization.
Session-related matters should be addressed with the teacher, while complaints or concerns must be directed to platform management.
10. Technical Requirements
To ensure optimal service quality, the student should have:
- A desktop or laptop computer (preferred) or a suitable mobile device
- A webcam
- Headphones with a microphone
- Internet speed of at least 4–8 Mbps
The student is responsible for testing their internet connection, microphone, and camera before each session.
11. Rights and Obligations of English Pioneer
English Pioneer aims to:
- Deliver high-quality educational services
- Resolve issues that affect service delivery
- Assign suitable teachers based on student needs
English Pioneer reserves the right to:
- Temporarily suspend services for maintenance or force majeure events
- Send informational or service-related communications
- Cancel subscriptions for violations of these Terms & Conditions
12. Privacy
Usernames, passwords, and access credentials are confidential. The student is responsible for maintaining their security and must not share them with third parties.
13. Intellectual Property
All Content and trademarks are the exclusive property of English Pioneer. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is strictly prohibited without prior written consent.
14. Disclaimer and Force Majeure
English Pioneer is not responsible for technical issues on the student’s side.
The platform is not liable for service interruptions caused by force majeure events, including natural disasters, pandemics, power outages, internet failures, government actions, or major technical disruptions.
15. Complaints and Suggestions
Students may submit complaints or suggestions in writing, including:
- Student identification details
- Description of the issue
- Suggested resolution (if applicable)
English Pioneer is committed to continuous improvement.
16. Termination
Students may terminate their relationship with English Pioneer at any time and request data removal in accordance with applicable laws.
Termination requests must be submitted through official platform procedures.
17. Amendments
English Pioneer may amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon publication on the Website.
Students who do not accept the amendments may terminate their relationship with the platform.
18. Refund Policy
Refund requests are accepted from registration until completion of the first session, without justification.
After the first session:
- A USD $30 non-refundable fee applies
- Payment gateway fees are non-refundable
- Remaining balance will be refunded where applicable
No automatic refunds are issued after the second session begins. All late refund requests are subject to English Pioneer’s sole discretion.
Special Exception:
If a refund is due to a fault or breach by English Pioneer, the student is entitled to a refund minus the value of sessions delivered correctly.
19. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Australia, and Australian courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
